ADVENTURE RIDING BY AREA
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Navigation rallies hand you a route the night before or a roadbook on the morning. GPS skills matter as much as riding.
- Most days are open to any road-legal bike; some routes grade by weight or tyre choice.
- Festivals sell out early. Camping is part of the ticket.
KIT Layers, a decent tank range, soft luggage and puncture repair. Knobblies help on Welsh green lanes after rain.
GOOD TO KNOW
Do I need a licence for adventure riding?
Usually a day licence or club membership from the governing body running the event (ACU, AMCA or an independent). The organiser page states what you need — we link to it, we never sell it.
Are these events verified?
Not yet. Everything listed here is illustrative until the organiser confirms dates, venue and the official entry route. Verified listings will say so on the page.
How do I enter?
Always via the organiser. Every event page carries their official entry link — The Dirt House never takes your entry or your money.
