TERMS OF SERVICE /// LAST UPDATED 15 SEPTEMBER 2026
The deal,
in plain English.
These terms cover using The Dirt House website and app, and anything you buy from us. If you only browse the calendar, the short version is: the guide is free, entry is always with the organiser, and we never take a cut of your entry fee.
Who we are
The Dirt House is a trading name of SVE Ventures Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16822306), registered office 2 Lormay Place, Westbury, Brackley, England, NN13 5NJ. Contact us at sam@thedirthouse.co.uk.
Event information
We work hard to keep dates, venues, entry states and results accurate, and we link to each organiser’s official page. Organisers run their events and set their own entry terms, prices, cancellations and rules — when you enter an event, your contract is with the organiser, not with us. Always check the official event page before you travel. Live timing and results come from the organiser’s timing provider and can be delayed or corrected after the fact.
Accounts
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email, so keep access to that inbox secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend an account that is used to abuse the service, scrape it at scale or mislead riders.
Paid plans
| Plan | Price | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| Pro (riders and fans) | £5.99 a month or £39 a year | Renews automatically until you cancel |
| Promoter | £39 a month | Renews monthly until you cancel |
| Venue & festival | £99 a month | Renews monthly until you cancel |
| Featured slot | £49 a week | One-off payment for the weeks you choose |
Prices are shown before you pay and charged in pounds sterling. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Founding-pilot organisers who were offered a free profile keep it free on the terms agreed in writing.
Cancelling. Cancel any time from your account, which opens Stripe’s secure billing page. A monthly plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and is not charged again. Annual plans refund unused whole months if you cancel within the first 30 days.
Your right to cancel as a consumer. If you buy as a consumer, you can cancel a new subscription within 14 days of buying it and we will refund you in full, less a proportionate amount for any time you used it. This does not affect your other statutory rights.
Featured slots are clearly labelled placements. We may decline or pause a featured slot that is misleading or not a real event, and refund any unused weeks. Placement never changes the event facts we show.
Backing a rider and buying photos
When you back a rider, the amount and our declared fee are shown before you pay; the rider receives the backing through Stripe. Backing is a gift or sponsorship to the rider, not a purchase of goods from us. Event photos are sold by the photographer who took them: you get a licence to use the photo personally, and the photographer keeps the copyright.
Organisers and partners
If you claim an event, you confirm you run or represent it and that the details and entry link you give us are accurate. You keep ownership of your event information and give us permission to display it on The Dirt House. We check every claim before anything is published.
Using the service fairly
Don’t copy the catalogue, results or rider data in bulk, resell it, or interfere with the site or app. Rider profiles are built from published results; if something about you is wrong or you want it removed, email us and we will act on it.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses caused by an organiser, a changed or cancelled event, or information supplied by a third party, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Motorcycle sport is dangerous; your safety at any event is between you and the organiser.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top. If a change materially affects a paid plan, we will email you before it takes effect and you can cancel. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live in the UK.
Privacy
How we handle your data is set out in our privacy notice.
